Verhoek Europe is expanding

GENEMUIDEN – Verhoek Europe is further expanding its operations and has taken residence at the H2O Hattemerbroek industrial park. Due to the ambition to grow its XL-logistics division, a suitable location was sought to realize these plans, which has been found at the new H2O industrial site in Hattemerbroek. The new building of Verhoek Europe consists of a warehouse of approximately 10,000 m² with a 650 m² mezzanine and 600 m² of office space. The facility will be entirely dedicated to the XL-logistics department, which has therefore relocated from its site in Genemuiden to Hattemerbroek. The central location of the industrial park and the additional storage space create an ideal starting point for further expanding the XL-logistics division within Verhoek Europe. Borghese Logistics, in collaboration with Mies Architectuur, has been responsible for the development of the plan. The complex has been designed to be gas-free and fully electric, which allows it to achieve the BREEAM – Very Good certification. Pleijsier Bouw has been responsible for the construction of the new complex. Verhoek Europe: “We are pleased with this development, which enables us to fulfill our growth ambitions for XL-logistics. The logistics process for sunshades, industrial doors, and other elongated goods requires a different approach than transporting rolls of carpet, rugs, and pallets. For this reason, we have chosen to focus entirely on XL-logistics. Additionally, this move allows us in Genemuiden to concentrate on our core business: transporting rolls across Europe and the United Kingdom.
